Turn old into new! Upgrade your grill with the matching replacement plancha for direct use. Each griddle plate is custom‑made to order and handcrafted with precision.
A plancha, also known as a griddle plate, transforms your grill into a true multi‑talent. It is ideal for preparing side dishes such as grilled vegetables, but also perfect for bacon when making burgers or pancakes as a dessert straight from the grill.
The plancha is inserted directly into the grill in place of a grate. When purchasing a replacement grate, make sure to select a width division that allows you to alternate between plancha and grill grate. Alternatively, the plancha can be placed on top of existing grates.
This heavy‑duty stainless steel griddle plate is made from 4 mm ground stainless steel. The high material thickness and resulting overall weight ensure excellent heat retention. All griddle pans feature a 35 mm upstand on three sides.
The dimensions provided refer to the outer dimensions.
By default, the corners are bent without cutouts. Optionally, the corners can be fully welded shut. The welded corners are sealed up to a height of approx. 15 mm.
Optional handles can be welded on. The handles (140×40 mm) are made from 4 mm stainless steel and are welded centrally facing upward.
Optionally, a front‑side elevation can be added. For this, an 8×8 mm support bar is welded to the underside. This creates a slight backward slope, preventing liquids from escaping at the front edge. For this option, we recommend welded corners.
Optionally, the front side of the plancha can be closed. A 30×4 mm flat bar is welded in place. When selecting the closed front side, we also recommend configuring welded corners.
Optionally, the plancha can be equipped with drainage holes. The position of the holes can be defined after selection. A total of three holes with a diameter of 8 mm are added. Each hole is positioned 20 mm from the outer edge at the selected location.

- When using a plancha, pay special attention to even heat distribution. Uneven thermal load can occur, for example, if heat accumulates on one side underneath the griddle plate. The plancha must also not cover the entire grill surface; otherwise, thermal distortion may occur during high‑temperature operation. This effect can be more pronounced when welded corners are selected.
